BlackBerry Home Server

It looks like Research in Motion is coming out with some new technology, that from the sound of it, appears to be a cross between a desktop edition of BlackBerry Enterprise Server and iTunes.

BlackBerry Home Server is a piece of software that runs on your PC that connects to RIM’s network operations center. Data on your PC can be uploaded to RIMs backend and synchronized wirelessly to BlackBerry users handheld devices.

BlackBerry Home Server is said to have an interface like iTunes and the market is any consumer with a cell phone and a computer.
